Both are good. But both job opportunities and growth opportunities are definitely much better in sales or business roles. In a given location or in a given bank, there will always be many more job vacancies in sales or business oriented roles. Business oriented roles also come with higher earning opportunities, not just in the form of big sales incentives but also, many a times, in terms of higher salaries too.
Growth or promotion opportunities are also generally faster in sales roles.
