A typical retail banker’s job role involves :
- Approaching and acquiring new customers, primarily with their current or savings bank accounts
- Onboarding new customers, including on digital channels
- Assisting customers for any servicing requirements
- Advising customers on various financial services they need (e.g. mortgages and lines of credit etc.) & cross-selling
- Handling customer queries/ complaints
- Managing relationships of high value customers
- Generating references from existing customers
