My English communication skills are not good. Will that be a problem?

Not really for starting out!
Yes, English is useful in any corporate job, but for entry-level banking jobs—especially in retail banking—you can still get opportunities if:

  • You are very good in your local language, and
  • You can manage basic English for simple tasks.

This is even more true for semi-urban and rural areas, where banks are hiring a lot these days.

However, as you grow in your career and aim for bigger roles, strong English skills will make a big difference—it will help you handle more customers, get promotions faster, and work in bigger cities.
